Bushy Park Blipmeet

I was up very early this morning to get to Bushy Park for our arranged blipmeet. Although it was scheduled for 9am some of us decided to get there earlier to catch the sunrise...what sunrise? With thick cloud cover we never got the hoped-for sunrise, and the wind was freezing cold and very gusty.

It was wonderful to meet so many blippers - organised by GeekMeek and GavinMeek, I met Draco and PaulaK (and Garri) who had travelled from far, also met 55Daisies (and Adrian), 1bluebell, SueL7, Shaamie and DawnP.

There is something about blippers...they are lovely people!

I was disappointed that my lens was not long enough to get a close shot of the stags (Nikkor 70-200mm), and lacking the bravado of Max Ellis, I sensibly kept my distance but then had to crop the images quite a bit to get anything reasonable. I had many images to choose from, but I had to choose a stag for today's blip as that is what I really was hoping to get.
