Bassaleg Bare Tree

I'm still in depression after yesterdays Derby defeat, so today's blip was always
going to be a dark one in mourning for my team.

I was on call today; camera bag packed ready. With light falling, and needing a blip I popped out to the next village and this tree drew my eye. Such an interesting shape. It was in a line of tree's that led from Tredegar House to the top of the hill. The tree line is now broken by the M4 motorway.

No doubt Lord Tredegar and his family would have walked past this tree, on many occasions, to picnic at the top of the hill. A hill he could see from his house. At the top, wherever he looked - he owned!
