Amaryllis bud

I blipped the new shoot on1st Jan and this is how the bud looks now. Although the full flower will be very impressive I wanted to blip this stage too as I love the way it looks like someone has crammed a red silk scarf into a green purse and it is starting to burst out.

You should be seeing the full flower in about 4 to 5 days I reckon. In the meantime my girl friend Ann has come to stay so we will be having fun shopping and doing coffee in Chelts tomorrow. Thank goodness for covered shopping malls!
