Winter approaches

It's been a beautiful day here today with end to end blue skies and warm sunshine but it looks like we could have some frost tonight - the first of the season.

More log cutting, beach walking and garden tiding and I now have a whole beech tree stashed in the greenhouse - big tree - big greenhouse.

I'm hoping I can get some hyper-fast drying over the next month or so. The challenge is to get logs dried but keep the greenhouse windows open so that dampness doesn't build up too much.

...it's now 4.30 and its dark, it seems like Winter is rushing in on us.
