Not so little anymore

For the first time ever, my son asked for his hair to be styled for the school disco, which meant buying him his own pot of hair putty. He didn't want to dance, that wasn't cool, but was aware a couple of girls in his class wanted to dance with him. He's only 7!!

Not sure I'm keen on him becoming image conscious. Wondering where my little baby went, as I looked at the casts of his feet we'd taken when he was 11 weeks old, after I'd tucked him up in bed.



Don't you understand that we need to be childish in order to understand? Only a child sees things with perfect clarity, because it hasn't developed all those filters which prevent us from seeing things that we don't expect to see.
