Belle of Brighton

I had a surprise today when I met up with my photobuddies for a stroll around the City of Brighton to share our interest in capturing some atmosphere of the town. Ria arrived too and unbeknown to me was the focus of our attention for a couple of hours as she was modelling for us.

I had not thought I was good enough to be behind the lens as some of my buddies were semi professional but I thought I would have a go.

I've chosen this one for Ria's flawless looks - our "Belle of Brighton".

Afterwards we headed to the "Lord Nelson" to get warm, the others had pints and halfs and Ria and I shared a caffetera of coffee. It was a welcome relief to warm up and Ria thawed in front of the open fire. We all had a group photo and a good chat. I also bumped into a colleague from work, well well...
We all headed off our seperate ways and I just.. well sort of, did a bit of retail therapy before heading home.

Now its time to catch up with Mr Selfridge and prepare for work in the morning.
