Daylight tricky

This is the view from the kitchen sink! Not very interesting I'm sorry! The entertainment had been and gone by the time I managed to dry my hands and grab the camera! Mr and Mrs Sparrow were having a bit of a barney and creating a bit of a din! Then Ginger Tom thought he would get in on the action and Mr and Mrs Sparrow took their argument elsewhere away from prying eyes!!

It's been a lovely quiet morning and the view from my window gave the deceptive view of being dry and mild but I've been duped! I went round opening windows to let some fresh air in only to rush around shutting them again 10 minutes later because it's freezing!! Oh well it's a bit fresher now :).

We all trooped down the hill to my mum and dads this afternoon as it's my dads birthday tomorrow and as he works and doesn't get in til late we celebrated early so the kids get to spend some time with their grandad. My dad is truly my hero. He is my best friend and I love him to bits. He is always there for me and my 3. He does all the DIY jobs in my house that I can't manage and he is a good patient teacher. Even at my age when I'm seriously poorly all I want and need is my dad! I wanted to post a picture of him today but my batteries died on the camera! :( oh well another day :)

After our visit the kids the bf and myself went out for dinner to the local harvester and we all had a good time chattering away, laughing at silly jokes and stuffing our faces with too much food. The only blip in the day was prying he that is the teenager from his playstation and phones. Nearly needed to call a surgeon to surgically removed the controllers from his hands and the demands of 'turn it off now!' were met with stern glares and declarations of 'oh wow!' Which is teenager talk for 'you're such an idiot mum, just leave me alone!!' Lol after the initial shock of being pried off the technology he was actually good fun and joined in with all the banter :)

Now it's back to reality and I need to get everything organised for the coming week. Hope you've all had a super Sunday :)
