Cuy dogs!

Slight pun intended...

...more festivities throughout the city and more Andean home cooking. This time comida tradicional y cultura agroecologica del campo. Andean agroecological festival of sorts in Parque San Blas. I´ve had cuy before, better known as guinea pig, and had to give it another go in light of the festivities and homecooking today.

Roast cuy, choclo corn, potatoes, and a cup of chica...there you go. The band plays on while little children dressed up in traditional costume keep up the dance, full belly sitting in the grass in the sleepy sunshine. Cuenca days continues...

And yes, it looks delicious right!?
