24 hours later

Back at the Cobb this afternoon to see if the weather had calmed down. A heavy hail storm just as we left brought the temperature down. Waves were still crashing over the Cobb, but not enough to deter some walkers from walking along the top of the Cobb. A couple of families that dared to walk to the end of the Cobb weren't quite quick enough, and ended up soaked when a wave unexpectedly caught them from over the top of the Cobb.

We even caught a rainbow which started in the Harbour View here
. Lovely day all in all with Mr Lovely and the kids, despite the dreary weather.

Those whom spring's storms torture, yearn for the warmth of summer,
Without even fearing the idea, that a hundred days of their lives will then have passed forever.
Buddha

If one had to fill in, little by little, the gap between day and night, it would take an eternity to do it. But the sun rises and the darkness is dispelled- a moment is sufficient to overcome an infinite distance.
Rabindranath Tagore
