We were at ESOC's sprint event at South Queensferry today for two short orienteering events. The heart of the operations was at the Queensferry Sports and Community Hub, which is a centre for rugby and American Football. There were a lot of people involved in the training, perhaps as a result of the recent season in the US, which culminated in the Superbowl, last Sunday evening. These guys were more Denver than Seattle in their ability, but seemed to be having fun. Scarily, many of them were 'bulky' rather than athletic. Their team is the Edinburgh Wolves; good on them

The orienteering was excellent and it stayed dry.
