Bar Lagoa, Ipanema

We've blipped several times from Bar Lagao, but this is probably our first Sunday evening visit when it was a little more tranquil than normal. It's a famous art deco place with a touch of Germany in its menu offerings, and waiters in white jackets who have served many years...some coming on for nearly sixty years!

It was scorching hot today, and I had obviously missed a few patches on my face yesterday with the sun tan cream, so today's lashings were more than tingly on the skin when first applied. We took to the shady side of the front on Copacabana, and then cut through to the Hippy Market in Ipanema going up some streets we didn't know that well. I don't think we bought anything there, which is a first in all our visits over the last twelve years!
