The prodigal sun returns

I know the sun has shone this winter. I just think it has only when I've been at work, in meetings or sitting at my desk with the blinds closed because there was too much glare on my computer screen. But today, it shined bright and beautiful. I didn't mind that there is still snow everywhere or that it is still much too cold. The sun just made everything feel promising today.
