My bracelets

These were a gift from two of my sisters. These are the big thing over here right now. Alex and Ani bracelets. My sister Laurie gave me the anchor and cowboy boot. My sister Nancy gave me the lady bug and the amethyst beaded one.

They all mean different things. The ladybug stands for my Mom.
The amethyst helps sleep.
The anchor is like my tattoo
And the boot, seriously? I have to explain this?

Tonight is a reflective evening. There are times we make mistakes. We say things without thinking whether they are intended to wound or not.
Once something is done with me it is done. I usually have no problem letting go and moving on I rarely rehash. I hate that.
Then something sticks in my craw.
It becomes familiar. The pain becomes part of who you are. You try not to make it part of your soul.
But it is. It's the baggage we speak about.
Yup.........
Time to put it on plane. Time to send it off.
Enough retrospective.

Made roast beef that truly sucked tonight. The cherry pie however did not.
