Princesses

Another day when we girls ventured into New York City.

It was a wet day - really not good for walking around a city. I took R and G up to Times Square while the others went to an appointment. R and I were revisiting the Toys'R'Us store we'd been to when she was 5. Fantastic Lego, huge selection of Barbies and an animatronic T-Rex. Of course, R was way too old and grown-up to actually buy anything. Thank goodness, as the store was jammed and the lines were loooong.

So we headed down to Greenwich Village to meet up with M and R, and check out an indoor market of young designers. Vintage clothing, jewellery, bags and all-in-one lycra body suits (uh huh, just like what Spiderman wears on his day off...).

One fabulous lady made cute headwear of various types. R bought headbands with flowers on for her and friend B. And all three girls had to try these...

So tempting to buy one, just to wear around the house when you're having a bad day.
