Proclamation of a local government
Sometimes when I look at the history of these townships as it is writ on things of the natural world we value - of stone and metals here - announcing its centric importance to the shape of administrations past, I recognise the future's implicit and wish it released to kingdom come.
We are often bowed down not with praise of what we have, but with concern about what is passing yet how can we best function to contribute to our natural and built environments.
Yet still these politicians carp on encouraging a blame game, decrying humanity, insulting their electors, squabbling, denying and today the final blow likely has been dealt the car industry in Australia. To see semi-formed human beings spruiking fault when we need leadership is our ongoing nightmare. Meanwhile we write on things of value - of stone and metals.
