big grey boxes. this could be another entry in my old/new "series". in the foreground, you can see the ahyeon expressway, which was one of the first built in seoul (around 1965). it's being demolished now, as are others, which is a good thing. in the background, you can see another housing mega-project - more disposable "architecture". i have to say i'm not convinced that any of these property developers actually employ any real architects. or maybe there is one master architect for all of korea, cause you'd be hard pressed to tell most of the buildings apart. guess it doesn't matter too much; they're all designed to be torn down in 20-30 years to make room for the latest and greatest.
