This is not the best picture in the world, but I was amazed to find over 1000 starlings in the field.
The noise of them in the trees was incredibly loud and as they took off 'en mass' the sound of wings flapping was quite eerie. They spent 15 minutes swooping between our fields and trees and then disappeared!
