Happy Seollal! In celebration of Korean New Year, I climbed the tallest mountain in Korea. This is the view from the top. As you can see, there is a giant crater covered in snow. Breathtaking. It took 8 hours to hike the whole thing (about 17 km) and I thought I was going to die. Luckily, our tour guide, Warren, coached me all the way up the mountain, which included stuffing leaves in my nose to help me "breathe better." Coming down was much easier, but not less frightening. Because it was so icy, we had to slide down a lot of it on our butts. That was fun until I lost control, got turned around, hit my friend, and almost flew off the side of the mountain. Fun times.
After our hike, we grabbed some beers and headed to Loveland. Now, usually my posts are brief and only about one thing, but this sex theme park cannot go unmentioned. Complete with bedazzled penis statues, vagina sculptures, and a sex toy shop, this was one of the most entertaining parks I have ever been to. Hooray for healthy sexuality!
