La Doma - Breaking In

This is a photo of a sketch I bought in San Antonio de Padua in The Pampas. The artist does drawings of gaucho life; this was a more modern take of his. The artist's name is Miguel Angel Gasparini. Probably his only piece in Istanbul :) The piece shows a gaucho "breaking in" a wild horse - I chose this modernist version because in his other versions, the eyes of the horses were all sad. He said "yes, but afterwards, they are best of friends."
