Hacked off

Today has been about garden grafting. I dodged showers hacked off branches removed grass bagged pebbles and managed to squeeze half a ton of soil under my dainty fingernails. This picture shows a now considerably smaller branch on an apple tree that my wife surgically removed. My approach is more hack and slash - she's the tree surgeon of the two of us.
