Joined at low tide

DDW's February 2014 Alphabet Challenge Day 10: J is for...

Today I took the dogs up the hill in Finstown, there is a really nice view out across the Bay of Firth. Whilst they ran around checking all the rabbit holes I took this shot of the bay our home sits on.

The nearest island is Holm of Grimbister and at low tide it is joined to the mainland by the causeway on the right. The furthest island is Damsay and has a bit more history attached to it.

PW has had a busy day tiling and has just arrived home looking in need of some TLC. I shall revive him with curry and foot rubs.
