What's this? A day off work and it's not been raining?! Surely not!?! Excuse me whilst I go and lie down in a darkened room to recover from the shock!

I seized the opportunity to take the pooch on a huge walk this morning. It was very cold, and very muddy, and we might have got lost briefly, but it was lovely and it certainly blew the cobwebs away. And it meant I got my blip for today, even if it was taken with no experience of this kind of photography, no tripod and whilst holding the lead of a very lively puppy.

The poor little thing is shattered now though. Hopefully this will mean a nice peaceful evening for Matt and I...
