A Capital Day
Popped into town after work to get a new suit, so here is a blip of the Capital Building at the corner of a George Street and St, Andrew's Square.
The building is a grade A Listed corner office building of stone construction accessed through an impressive entrance lobby, leading to an art deco stairwell. The building was constructed for the Caledonian Insurance Company in 1939. The Thompson & Connell designed art deco building was extended in the 1960s with an extensive refurbishment taking place in 1999.
I hope everyone has had a good Monday.
