Chip pan fire

Today the fire brigade visited us to demonstrate what could happen if you get a flame in the pan. They used the term chip pan fire but the amount of oil was just enough to fry a few eggs in. When that catches on fire and you add about 100ml of water to it this happens. It looked impressive and I'm glad I've never seen a chip pan fire in any of my kitchens.
