One tired dog

During the two full days in his new home with us, Spike is really having fun.
He's behaving as if he's been living with us for years. What a great dog!
He likes to walk a lot, but at the end of the day he's exhausted. This photo proves it.

This afternoon we went to the vet to have Spike examined. He's 100% OK. He weighs 22 kg, that's 'a bit' too much for a Beagle, so he's on a diet. I must admit I'm having the most problems with that...especially when he's giving me thát look.
Anyways, he's getting his walking-exercise now, so a snack or two a day are allowed...
