Bridging the Gap
Day 4 of the OAG as brought to us by Debbi and Mono Monday as inspired by Paladian !
Up early to see the start of the tight training regimes of many of the athletes around the stadium. However the weekend must have taken it's toll as I was ferried to the new ski and snowboarding jump instead. No cameras allowed in training, apparently!???
An amazing structure glistening in the window of sunshine here in Bristol.. just look at the dynamic ski-slope there! Reporters nay intrepid reporters were given a tour of the new facilities and impressive not to say demanding course. Athletes head up to the tower and launch themselves off the precipitous drop - just look at the angle of that curve!!
In reality an incredibly frustrating day what with one thing and another - all my own doing too! However, one ever so nice man LOL gave me a 'Family ticket' entry into Bristol Zoo today when he heard that I couldn't get in as they didn't take Amex, having leant my credit cards to No1 daughter for yesterday's shopping! Plus I didn't take my handbag so no change for the carpark either and ended up tipping the meagre contents of my purse into the attendant's bag who didn't mind it didn't reach the required amount! To top this on coming to take my first picture the sign flashed up - 'No card in camera' - well that did it for me! How very stupid!!! Annoyed with myself didn't even register on the Richter scale. This is what comes of late nights and being distracted! Googled a shop, went and bought a memory card and headed off to Clifton Suspension Bridge. What is going on? Seriously worrying!!
Going to shoot myself now!
