Pont Neuf

Busy day which included a boat tour from Pont Neuf. We were perplexed by the numerous padlocks fastened to the bridge with names on them. We later discovered that in this romantic city, they are put there by people to represent "everlasting love" and that there are many many more all over the bridges in Paris.

This picture is of Jo and Sandra - who are my best friends; whom I know and love from very different parts of my life. Jo (right) I met 30 years ago on day 1 at Nottingham University. We hit it off right away and have since shared many holidays in our 20's - 30's, boyfriend anxt, and heart to hearts... She currently lives a single life in London....prioritising exploring different cultures and adventure/challenging holidays.

Sandra I met 15 years ago, when I moved "to the country" and we share the experience of bringing up children, running a playgroup, committees, husband anxt and schools; oh yes and the joyous pleasure of dog walking...

They had never met before...
