The Other Tetras

These are my "other" Tetras .... they are Black Neon Tetras. I'm informed by the aquarium trade that they are not that popular any more. Most people go for Neon Tetras or Cardinal Tetras. I like them though (obviously), and I have a shoal of about ten of them.

They are solid little fish (about 3cm long). They make the Cardinals in the same tank look good (much like we guys make our wives look good by us being "ordinary").

Well, now you have met all my types of fish. I actually have three fish tanks (not just one). They keep me sane and provide colour all year round, unlike my garden which pretty much goes to sleep in winter.

Still ...... winter is nearly over now! Hint, hint :-)
