Emergency Empire

Too late. Too forgetful. Can never remember to take a blip.

Today I was terribly distracted on the way home by chatting to @AProckford about
Tim Horton's donuts,
The Glorious Defeat of The Canadians at Curling by The Scots,
Québécois smoked meat
and Gourmet Poutine!

So that's my excuse for presenting tonite's treat as an Emergency Blip.

It is an Empire Biscuit.
They used to be called German biscuits but then there was a squirmish or two in Europe.
They are called something Spitzbeuben in Germany I think.
I dont think they ever called them Britischer Kuchen
