Don't panic, it's just amateur dramatics

We're well into rehearsals for "Deathtrap"; the play I am going to be in at the end of March. It's fun to see the set coming together at each rehearsal, and the furniture is well on the way too. We arrived at the theatre this evening to find this note attached to the plank of wood balanced across two pedestals which is serving as a desk at the moment.
