Llanberis Pass

Pretty scary on a day like today as it's bucketing down with rain again, dark and cold but it didn't stop us having a great adventure, driving over the stunning Llanberis Pass stopping to refuel (us, large hot chocolate, with marshmallows ...... And cream) at the Llanberis Power Station's coffee shop. Another stop in Betws y Coed to purchase some waterproof trousers and I got a pair of very nice walking boots too at a brilliant knock down price in a shop full of great sale bargains.

The dogs are the only two feeling fed up today as they haven't had a good walk, but I suspect they are still feeling the effects from yesterday after their strenuous hike up Snowdon!

Back home to the cottage and we've battened down the hatches against the relentless wind and rain and hoping the electric won't go off. We've got supper on the go and then we'll settle down for the night, watch a bit of tele and have some more chat and a glass, or two!!
