One chance

I was just getting into my car after a meeting at Kilmory, the Argyll & Bute Council HQ outside Lochgilphead, when I noticed a movement in a tree right next to me.

I got a few seconds to catch a couple of pictures of this little red squirrel before it scampered away. I had to use whatever was nearest to hand which happened to be my Canon compact in the side pocket of my briefcase . I was glad I had put it there just before I left the house.

Not perfect in composition or focus. But I am pleased I got something from the momentary encounter.
