She Who supports her friends

Sarah, on the left, is one of her oldest and dearest friends: a bookseller, a scholar, a lover of poetry, a journal-keeper, a dog-lover. Sarah is 79 and has a large dog and a small dog, and walking the two dogs on the ice and in the snow is risky for Sarah. So we've been joining her on her dog walks.
