Event Photography

Tonight was the reason the whole family travelled to Wanaka this week-the celebration of my Auntie-in-Law's 70th birthday party. I took it upon myself to be one of the unofficial even photographers and tried to capture all the people, the fun, and the excitement. It ended up being much more of a challenge than anticipated. Documenting requires more than just candids, which in my honest opinion, are harder to get than people think. In the end I think I came away with a few shots which will be much appreciated.

This one had nothing to do with the party itself. I just noticed the Mrs standing in the doorway and her reflection in the opposite glass panel. It's not the clearest or the most in focus, but I couldn't help myself :)
