Sunrise in Michigan

It was a beautiful morning, but a long day.
High points of the day:
Hearing someone in pre-op ask if she could have the stones to keep after her surgery to remove them (they told her no, which saved me from having to do it);
Being told by the anesthesiologist that I was looking "pouffy" today and getting very offended (pissy) until he clarified that he was talking about my down coat (I'm still not entirely sure I believe him).
The surgery went smoothly and my uncle should be able to come home tomorrow - big sigh of relief.
