Strange feeling how the house keeps minding their business without me, friends coming one day and going the other day, kids coming and going, homework projects, skiing. I basically just stayed in bed all this day, too. The temperature kept going up to 39C.

I finished two books in two days, the first one from Lapland by the Arctic Ocean, the second one this, from a totally different part of the world. What they had in common was war and the violence against women/girls even if it was only the part of the story. I really recommend this biography if you haven't read it.
