Or just the back of the house?

We went exploring on the swamp/pond behind the house today, partly to investigate some animal tracks that we could see from the kitchen window. We thought it was probably a deer. Imagine our surprise when we found an otter slide, complete with paw prints!

The snow drifts were so deep back there that progress was impossible. Tricky getting back up the hill too - we were so tired from our endeavours in the woods that we never actually got round to doing a proper ski. A bit lazy of us, but at least we got out and enjoyed the snow (a bit like the otter, really).
