Had a really chilled day over Mum's today watching the Winter Olympics and with only the briefest trip to the skip. It was the Half Marathon in Mum's village so we walked up to the green and cheered on the runners coming home after battling through the wind. It's a pretty flat course, and it's always been in the back on my mind to give it a go, but as it's a race primarily with club runners, the times are really fast. Maybe I'll give it a go next year though..........
