Back at Kanyana after a month away and had a very pleasant morning with Widgie the Emu, Echidnas, Possums, Woylies, Sugar Gliders and Quendas.
All but Widgie are nocturnal so it was a case of creeping around quietly removing last night's dinner bowls,changing water and 'spotting them, curled up and snoring.

The amber eye (and look at those eyelashes!!) belongs to a Tawny Frogmouth and after tidying up their enclosure the idea was to feed each a mouse. Lots of tempting, taking and tossing around and generally taking the mickey... and a return for me to the kitchen with three still in tact, defrosted micy poles.
