Abandoned Bird Feeders

So far this winter we've experienced no snow here until this morning. And looking out in the garden this afternoon you would have never known, not a trace left and lovely blue skies.

It didn't take too long before the birds were back on the feeders and the blackbirds scraping away the snow layer to get at their seeds on the ground.

I took a few shots this morning as it snowed, and then waited for better weather to get out in the fresh air. I set off for my walk and was about to start taking photos when I reached for my camera...it wasn't there...then I realised...it was on the sofa at home!!

My walk felt slightly different as it's very rare I'm not looking for something to photograph.
