Ormond Hill, Again!
Lovely sunny day, but a very cold wind. It was late afternoon by the time we got out as it was a Hospice Day again. The sun was very low on the sky so no warmth in it, but heartwarming.
On a Tuesday morning I help out at the Highland Hospice Coffee Shop. It is a small cafe in the old part of the building, which is open to the patients, visitors and the general public. It is a very cheerful place, we have regulars who come every week, all the food is home made on the premises by the experts in the kitchen. The scones and soup are legendary, my particular favourite being the date and walnut scones and the cream meringues. ( I think I might do a blip of the cakes next week - rivalling another blipper who will remain nameless!)
