Blue sky

Blue sky, surprisingly blue clouds (not a trick of the camera or processing, perhaps of the light).  And snow (on the far hills).

We had snow, a rare event here, more forecast for tomorrow.  First a flurry of hail the size and texture of those tiny polystyrene balls, then fat wet flakes, then sleet, then freezing rain.  All in the few minutes it took me to scurry home.

This was taken later when I had to go out again, not in the best place for blipping.  But I like the sense of snow-clouds massing from the South.

My home-page is so full of thumbnails of proper snow I hesitate to post this.  In these parts this counts as snow.
