Unexpected

Today I had planned to drop the car off at the tyre place, walk home, watch telly, then walk back and pick up the car.

What actually happened was much more productive ...

Went to take car, wouldn't start. Phoned tyre place "No probs, we'll come and jump start it for you and take it up to the garage"

While I was waiting for them to arrive I tidied, hoovered and dusted the living room.
Thennnnn, I cleaned some tiles in the bathroom.
Thennnnn, I cleaned the extractor fan in the bathroom (totally took it to bits and hoovered and wiped and scrubbed the nooks and crannies with a toothbrush)
Thennnn, I had lunch.

While I was having lunch I had a peruse of Facebook where I noticed my hairdresser friendhad put on his status "Had a cancellation this afternoon - half price haircut if anyone wants to use the appointment" .... so cheapskate me, not being one to miss a bargain, I phoned and bagsied the slot :D

Then I painted the bathroom ceiling again.
Then I phone the tyre place and asked could I please have my car back so I could go for my hair appointment.
Then I went and had my hair cut (and very nice it is too).
Then I drove home in a BLIZZARD!
Then I was out at a Birthday bash (where my hair was well commented on so i think it must have been looking a bit crap before ;-) )

Now I am having a wee sit down.
