Sunshine and showers

The temperature has dropped a couple of degrees early this morning so all the showers coming through were falling as either snow or hail.

Showery weather is great for watching birds and out and about today some great views of white tailed eagles, starting to think about nest building and repairs after the gales we've had. Had a lovely view of a golden eagle on the skyline - covered a whole ridge without a single flap and at such a speed - it was certainly on a mission.

Great to catch up with a special pair of eagles too :-)
