Pilley snowdrops

Knew I wouldn't have too many opportunities for blips today, as we were doing boring things like having haircuts and test driving cars. Such fun... There was some snow/sleet at home this morning, and a substantial amount lying on the moors as I drove towards Pilley. My favourite horse chestnut looked stark against the grey sky, but had a carpet - or at least a little rug - of snowdrops below it. A little wooden sign said "please keep off the grass - bulbs planted" , so I'm hoping for some crocuses(i?) and daffodils next time I go for my hair cut!
