A Different Life

I saw this old shepherd's hut in a corner of the yard outside the Forge and the garden centre this afternoon. Imagine living in this during the winter!
It has a chimney, so presumably it was possible to huddle over a small fire.
We decided to have a cup of tea in the restaurant, and were given a plate of delicious small cakes to taste ! These are being served free this month, no doubt to tempt customers during a quiet period of trading.
I bought some violas to replace the ones which got, er, trampled on while the fences were being put up yesterday!
