Up Beat...

Today has been very productive. My band managed to record the vocals and drum parts for the song 'Mr Bright Side' and we are all really pleased with the out come of the song. There is still a reasonable amount of mixing to do yet but for the mean time I'm just happy that the one song is complete.

I got a couple of really good shots whilst setting up and recording the drums but I couldn't really decide on which photo I should blip today. I decided on this one because I liked the way I managed to get the camera to focus on the mic with the kit blurred in the background, as I thought it looked quiet cool. I took the photo when we had just finished recording the vocals and we were about to start recording the drum part.

I also learned some really cool mixing techniques during my recording class which I tried out tonight and it sounds really cool.
On the whole very productive day with a great result to end.
