The Crow
We, Orygonhomeboy and I went to the north jetty this afternoon. I would bet we went about 20 minutes before "Old Guy and the Sea" please check out his beautiful sunset over the jetty after the storm picture. Mine were silvery and his were golden - just beautiful! I don't know how to send you there but it is worth the search. I took 65 pictures and it was really tough to choose. Old Guy's picture helped me eliminate about 25! He is right about the huge waves on the other side of the jetty but I couldn't capture them. I tried not to choose this picture because it is just a bird...but, I love birds and I loved all the different colors of the beached logs. It was fantastic down there today. Huge waves off in the distance, deep sink holes in the sand and even one in the parking lot! from the storm. Lots of people checking out the magnificence of an Oregon beach after a storm! There were huge logs floating in the water like a small child's rubber raft and sea birds flying overhead and jumping the waves on shore. Whatever you believe in.....He, She, It, Nature - it doesn't matter, "they" do a fantastic job, If it doesn't inspire awe when you see nature in action - you are not looking with your heart and soul !
