A New Zealand Fur Seal that we saw at the Tuarangi colony near Westport on our way from Nelson to Hokitika, South Island. Captain Cook called this Cape Foulness but ironically the Maori name means "safe anchorage". Sometimes it is just bad timing - Cook arrived to shelter from a storm!
