I had a little visitor today...

She was very beautiful. Purr-fect manners. She just sat, motionless, on the window ledge outside my kitchen and watched me for a while. I, in turn, sat on the top step to the basement and watched her for a while. I felt it was only right to extend to her the equal privilege of attention that she was bestowing upon me. Without needless ceremony we quietly acknowledged each others existence, mindful of not disturbing each others peace. Then as gracefully as she arrived - she was gone. As for me, I sat a little while longer...
